About YES Tutoring
For more than six years, Beaver With U has provided free and community-supported learning opportunities for Newcomers and Seniors. Building on that experience, YES Tutoring has grown into a broader 1-on-1 tutoring program designed to make quality learning support more accessible and affordable for learners with different goals, backgrounds, and needs.
From English and academic tutoring to professional communication, we match each learner with a tutor based on their goals, schedule, and the tutor’s experience and expertise. Regular 1-on-1 tutoring starts from $40/hour, with different tutor options to fit different learning needs.
Our commitment to accessible learning remains at the heart of the program. Eligible Newcomers and Seniors can apply for subsidized Community Tutoring at $10 per session. As a program of Beaver With U, a registered Canadian charity, revenue from YES Tutoring is reinvested into our programs, helping us continue to provide accessible learning opportunities and support more people in our community.

Community Tutoring
We understand that everyone’s circumstances are different. Through our Community Program, Beaver With U provides subsidized 1-on-1 tutoring for eligible Newcomers and Seniors who may benefit from additional learning support.
